One day, Erika and I decided to make a pair of Priestess costumes. She chose the black art version, while I selected the purple sprite version (after all, purple is my favorite color!). She also made a few new hats for us - the Poring headgear, a Farmiliar hat, and a random black cat-like one.

We put cute personal touches onto our costumes. The rhinestones on our crosses are heart shapes, for example. The sprite wears a belt-like thing, which we turned into a rosary (that we made for 48 cents!).

I wound up taking about four inches in the waist and buying actual garters prior to Otakon 2k4, which helped tons in keeping the stockings up. I was pleased with these improvements, which made the costume more flattering and easier to wear (though nothing is really easy to wear in the Baltimore heat!).
